Bags of love for Vietnamese orphans during Design Week

I've just been told about a lovely idea from UK charity the Kianh Foundation, for helping disabled and disadvantaged children in Vietnam.

They've teamed up with 10 promising young designers, who've created a collection of unique handbags to be auctioned off during London Design Week, which kicks off on Saturday. One of the exciting new bag designs is by newcomer Harriet Sanders, who was chosen for the ASOS.com Limited 100 Competition/Collaboration with LCF earlier in the year. Her bag pictured above incorporates artwork by the orphans themselves.

All the bags can be viewed at an exhibition at the London College of Communication from 22nd until 26th September with a private viewing on 22nd September from 7pm - 9pm. The silent auction will take place throughout the week.
