I think I'm in love with Anya Hindmarch's miniatures: the coin purses, sponge bags and key holders that have just as much style and humour per square inch as the larger models. Shown above is the delectable 'Sevilla'; a washbag in 'mirror leather' which is made of the weightiest, shiniest soft fabric I think I've ever touched. It's £115 available at Anya Hindmarch or Liberty.
The Floyd (above) though made of old-fashioned ordinary leather is in some ways even more exciting. I love the little legends that each colour comes emblazened with. 'Taxi coins' is a nice touch, but my favourite has got to be the green ('headache pills') which is available at Liberty. Other wallets in the Floyd range including 'taxi coins' and 'parking' are available for £75 at Gift Library.
One of the cutest ideas I've seen (and one I really must save up to buy for a friend who's caught in the internet dating minefield) is this shiny, petrol blue 'dating fund' wallet made from soft leather. It's just delightful, and has a sister product: a silver 'skiing fund' variation. The former is available at Gift Library for £85; the latter on sale at Anya Hindmarch for £54.60.
