Perhaps its's the fact that we've already given up on summer that's prompted an interest in all things glove-shaped recently. Or was it the death of Michael Jackson - one of the most famous glove wearers of all time - that's kicked off the trend?
Happily, I haven't yet picked up on a fashion for wearing single gloves King of Pop style, but you can't move for sharp and sophisticated gloves right now - whether they're long and elegant or cropped, masculine leather styles or - um - attached to bags.
