As we mentioned way back in January, Anya Hindmarch made the Queen's annual New Years Honour List. And on Tuesday, the ethical designer was awarded her MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) at Buckingham Palace.
Bestowed the honour in recognition of her eco-friendly contribution to the fashion industry, Anya is mostly known for her much-talked about "I'm Not A Plastic Bag" tote that sold out across the world in 2007.
"It was such a fantastic honour and a really special experience. It made me feel so proud to be British!" she said.
