I'm a huge fan of heritage brand Jaeger - especially their gorgeous bags. They're exquisitely made and don't have the vaguely tacky "look at me, I'm a designer handbag!" branding factor often associated with the Italian brands.
This one is the "Tilly", a glossy quilted patent number available in cream, black, green, navy, faux snakeskin (um...), leopard print (...no), and a lovely dark red as pictured here on the arm of Fearne Cotton. Yours for £299 from the Jaeger website.
