FIRST LOOK: Sofia Coppola's handbag line for Louis Vuitton

Sofia Coppola has debuted her first line of handbags and shoes for Louis Vuitton. The director unveiled her special collaboration in Tokyo last week.

"To start with I wanted to make a bag for myself and then we talked about making a little capsule collection," she explained to WWD. "My friends and I are always searching for the perfect day bag. It fits all your things but isn't too big and isn't too heavy."

The collection features an array of clutches, duffle bags and retro style wedge sandals. Coppola spent a year working on the line, with the highlight, the SC bag available in four versions.

With a Miss Dior commercial now also under her belt, it seems as though the sky's the limit for Sofia right now.
