Ok, ok, so it's only the first day of autumn so not *quite* glove-wearing weather yet. But have you noticed yourself stuffing your hands into your jacket pockets or walking that much more briskly? Yes, it's on it's way my friend and it's never too early to be prepared. Plus, you know that the ones you've been eyeing up will be long gone by the time it's actually cold enough to wear them! (I am only passing on information I have been unlucky enough to experience firsthand.) So the lesson is get in there now or not at all - how about some fun, striped ones to start off with? That still leaves us plenty of time to get to the leather, cashmere, fair isle and cable knits...
