You wouldn't think it would be very hard to find a basic black pashmina or wrap/stole, but that is where you'd be wrong my friend. Very wrong. I have turned the UK high street upside down looking for some great wraps in different fabrics and at different price points, and have been astounded at just how hard it is to find one, let alone three!
Why I am even looking for a black pashmina is because it is a great all-in-one item (or wardrobe glue, as the CQ girls would put it) for in-between seasons. Lighter than a knit (but warmer than nothing at all!) you can wear as a scarf or a stole, either around your shoulders, loose around your neck or tied in a number of ways. And even though it might sound a bit cliché, it *is* a must-have item to take with you when travelling. Cashmere or cashmere/silk are obviously the best in this situation, but you can achieve a similar look/feel with silk or other synthetic fibres.
