Paul's Boutique seem to be having a slight case of Marc Jacobs Fever right now, as this is the second bag that has given me a sense of déjà vu lately. First to prompt a double take from me was the fluro Kirsty bag which beared more than a passing resemblance to Marc's multi-coloured pochette.
But here we see another MJ 'inspired' bag, which, while I admit to having a crush on the original, I'm not feeling this one at all.
However, the quilted shopper *does* have points which can fill up some lines in your 'pros' column (if, ah, that's the type of thing you do): first, the £55 pricetag is a lot more cheerful. Then of course, patent is still going strong as a trend - ditto for the quilting. And the red is truly striking, which is always nice to see in a sea of winter blacks, greys and browns. I leave it up to you to decide which side of the pros and cons column you will fall on!
