This wouldn't have helped me this morning - it was raining so hard that, had I tried to fashion myself an umbrella from a newspaper, I would have had a papier mache helmet in moments. But it might be useful in case of, say, drizzle.
What it is is an Eco-Brolly frame, which instantly converts a discarded newspaper, plastic bag, magazine, etc., into a stop-gap umbrella. Designed by Shiu Yuk Yuen, it's a cool idea, but I don't see it working. Do you? [via Apartment Therapy]
