Big Buddha's 'Kirsten' looks good in pictures

pl617819-00vliv01.jpgI'm constantly impressed by Big Buddha's bags. They manage to look sumptuous while being made from synthetic leather. But having just bought an actual leather bag that looked sumptuous on the web, but looks like plastic now it's in my hot little hands, I'm not convinced how good the Big Buddha bags would look in real life.

This 'Kirsten' basket weave satchel, for instance, costs just $90 from Piperlime. For that price, can it possibly be as good as it looks?

My boyfriend just purchased this same bag in creme on ebay for $50 for me! it was brand new and came with all the tags still!

there are bargins on big buddha bags - you just have too look for them!

Urban Outfitters would be one of the more expensive places to find these bags...

Just shop around to find a deal that works for you!

i just purchased one of these bags in dark brown, everybody thinks it is leather! beautifully made with a gorgeous lining that i can't help showing everybody once they admire the bag. only €75 euro so it makes Clara's look expensive but i have to admit I would have paid that for it!!

I first saw the Big Buddha bags in a little shop in Harper's Ferry, W.VA, and was so surprised that I'd never heard of them. I was able to touch it, and feel it and I absolutely Loved it, but didn't have the money at the time. Very soft and supple, felt just like buttery soft leather. I am a big Melie Bianco fan and have several "Melie" bags, but may now start buying Big Buddha. I'll see how the first one holds up. My Melie Biancos last and last...good challenge!!
