To celebrate the launch of London's first ever Jewellery Week, a £1m diamond-encrusted handbag will be going on display at various jewellery stores around London, and afterwards will be available for sale.
The bag, designed by Ginza Tanaka from Japan, is a one-off design and has over 2,000 diamonds. The shoulder strap can be removed and worn as a necklace or bracelet, and similarly, the 8-carat pear-shaped diamond surrounded by 81 smaller cluster diamonds on the side of the bag can be detached and worn as a brooch.
