Another year, another Met Costume Institute Ball and another set of photos for us to pore over and pick out our fave outfits! The theme this year was Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy and while there were some attempts to dress to theme - Christina Ricci, Katie Holmes and Anna Wintour were among those who got into the spirit - there were also a lot of bland, boring choices this time round. No matter, there are still plenty of fab dresses to lust over and not to mention bags, jewellery and footwear!
Cuffs seemed to be the accessory du jour, being very reminiscent of Wonder Woman's gold beauts. The original Wonder Woman herself, Lynda Carter, made an appearance wearing the real thing (see bottom left pic). Other interesting accessory additions were Ivanka Trump's headpiece, Blake Lively's short black evening gloves and stacks of jewels, Zoe Kravitz's amazing stole and Scarlett Johansson's new engagement ring!
