getimage.jpgThe other day I was tapping away on my keyboard as I am wont to do and I became aware of a buzzing noise. I wandered over to the window, pulled back the blinds and felt something fuzzy on my finger. I screamed and yanked my hand back, knocking a plant off the window sill and flinging soil all over the room.

Why am I telling you this? Because the fuzzy thing turned out to be a blue bottle (my reaction was more suited to a wasp or bee, but how was I to know?) and I just discovered this Fly Pin by Allison Ross on Shop SCAD (The site of the Savannah College of Art and Design and my new favourite discovery). It's the size of a real fly, costs $40 and is currently out of stock. But why? Why?
