Today we got the first peek at Louis Vuitton's new Monogramoflauge design by Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami - a combination of Murakami's famous monogram print and a classic camouflage pattern.
The design was revealed last night at the preview of Murakami's new exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum in New York, which kicks off officially this weekend for the general public.

Read on to see more pics of the exhibition and find out when Louis Vuitton's monogramoflague collection will hit the shops!

The preview also gave Louis Vuitton the opportunity to unveil its plans for combating cumbersome counterfeiters - the fashion house are taking a novel approach by setting up a street vendor site outside the museum in New York which won't sell fakes, but the actual real deal!

As well as the leather goods, 300 of the Monogramouflage print canvases will be up for sale, priced between US$6,000 and US$10,000.

As for the rest of us, we'll have to wait until June 15 to get our hands on pieces from the Monogramouflage collection, including luggage, handbags, costume jewellery and ready-to-wear. From selected Vuitton stores.
