Fashion label DSquared2 is turning its sights to eyewear, and have signed a five-year licensing deal which will have the DSquared2 brand put to sunglasses and prescription frames for men and women.
The design duo behind DSquared2, brothers Dan and Dean Caten, will team up with the Marcolin Group to launch the first range of sunglasses in the first half of 2009, with prescription frames to follow soon after.
"We are extremely happy that Marcolin decided to invest in our brand for its notoriety and also for its tremendous potential," the lads said on their website.
If their eyewear designs are as quirky and fun as their clothing, then it'll be an exciting collection to look forward to!
