I've worn this belt loads recently. It reminds me of my mother in the 80s, when she seemed to top off everything with an elasticated belt of some kind to show off the tiny waist that I, sadly, never really inherited. The great thing about this version of the old classic is the cutouts in the buckle. They somehow make it look like the belt was created especially to go with whatever dress or skirt you team it with. The colour of the fabric shows through the gaps and looks - from a distance - like coloured enamel. All this for a fiver, in a choice of black, blue or red. God bless good old New Look!
