A couple of weeks ago I featured a Marc Jacobs 'Bag on Bag' - a tote with an attached clutch. After carrying the beige and green suede version, Laura Barton wrote in the Guardian: "Even if you found yourself quarantined on some tropical isle with a terrible feverish disease, the delirious hallucinations you experienced could not spawn such a handbag. It is repulsive. And it probably costs a gazillion pounds."
Why am I harping on about the Marc Jacobs bag? Because this Goldenblue 'Audra' is another 'bag on bag' and while it's more successful than the Marc Jacobs (granted, it would be difficult to be less successful), it's still not exactly working for me. The thing is, when the bags are together, one of them is redundant (also a gift to bag thieves), but when they're separated, the snap closures are on show.
I'm disappointed. I really want these bags to work. I'm just not sure why.
