Flower and bird large jewellery box

jewl%20box.JPG

For ages I've being looking dolefully at my much entangled jewellery, which is scattered across my desk in a tangled heap. No matter what I do it seems to knot itself together (similar to wires) but I'm at a loss on how to sort this out. This beautiful box caught my eye on the Debenhams website, and I think it would be a great solution. Different drawers could hold ring, bracelets and brooches and the larger bottom drawer could easily store everything else. It's£35 from Debenhams, and it is incredibly pretty. I love the mirrors encasing it, and the subtle flower and bird print is really delicate and delightful. The little rose handles on the drawers are stunning and it puts me in mind of forties glamour. My jewlellery may still get tangled, but at least it will do it in style!

I have a great method for stopping necklaces getting tangled and keeping earrings together. I bought a box of those little flat clear bags with a ziplock top. In the mornings I grab the bags and that way the jewellery doesn't get damaged.

I bought them in a stationery shop and it was about a fiver for a few hundred bags.
