Surrealism has long been a part of fashion. Ever since Elsa Schiaparelli created the lobster dress and the shoe hat fashion has taken inspiration from a range of surrealist artists. Now Central Saint Martins graduate Kazu Huggler has taken inspiration from the classic English nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty. The surrealist element is obvious with the ear clasp and the feet.

The 'Egg Bag', is making its debut today at the Heritage Auction Galleries’ new Arts Annex in Dallas. It contains many historical references, for example the furry fabric is reminiscent of Japanese Matagi vests hunters wore during the Jomon Period in Japan. It would set you back $10,000!
