Emma Hill is new Mulberry Creative Director

Earlier this week I reported on Katie Grand's decision to decline the position of Creative Director at Mulberry mere weeks before she was due to start (well, 8 weeks). Well it seems they have already found her replacement. Today it was announced that British designer Emma Hill would be taking up the position in time for the Spring/Summer 09 collection. She has previously worked for leading names in fashion such as, Gap, Chloe and Marc Jacobs.

In a statement Hill said, "I've always loved Mulberry and look forward lending my skills to build on the brand's exciting recent achievements, and secure its position in the international marketplace." Can't wait to see her first collection!
