We Baglady girls were lucky enough to go to a press preview of Delphine's gorgeous collection, and we bring you the best and the brightest out of the jewellery we saw. First off there are these lovely pieces (seen above). I like the use of flower embellishments wrought out of wire to create a modern look, and the different colours and textures make it eclectic. Delphine uses purple in her creations, which is very in right now, and the delicate chain sets off the chunky wires very nicely.
My colleague was particularly taken by these seventies inspired neon pieces, loving the mixture of the metallic and plastic to create a funky raver look, not unlike that on the recent catwalks. I love the chain detailing and the use of the bold colours to create statement jewellery.
I fell in love with the lovely gold leaf designs, liking the way the designs conveyed weight and the idea of couture, whilst remaining affordable pieces of costume jewellery. I predict a trend towards the use of leaves in design, and think it will shortly overtake the bow as a signature embellishment. The cuff would look great with a LBD, and add a pair of heel and you ave a great Christmas outfit!
