The high priced jewellery store has announced plans to make their jewellery more accessible. Tiffany & Co famous for high priced statement jewellery and engagement pieces is branching out to make their pieces available to more people. The plan involves opening smaller stores with new ranges available, the high end and engagement items will still be reserved for the bigger stores. The new 'Collections' stores are to start opening in 2009 with one opening each year eventually totaling 70. The chairman and CEO explained, "[The stores have] a more modern design that will allow us to showcase jewelry, so you can interact with it and explore. It's simply a new way of looking at Tiffany."
