If summer is the time of the canvas tote and dainty clutch, then Autumn, for me at least, is a time for big, slouchy shoulder bags, like Barratt's 'Octopus'. At just £20, this will comfortably carry all of your belongings, and although it's not real leather, you wouldn't really expect it to be for that price, would you? It's a simple style, with a dash of the "designer inspired" about it, and it comes in black, brown and black patent. I think this would make a good, useful bag for anyone heading off to college or university this month - or, of course, for anyone who just likes their handbags on the slouchy side!
