I'm a sucker for message bracelets, and Me & Ro reeled me in with this 'Love' bead bracelet last week. I made the mistake of showing it to my boyfriend who was incredulous and couldn't believe what I would pay for something I (admittedly) could make a pretty good imitation of, myself. So, fellow bag and jewellery lovers, tell me your views. The sterling silver bead itself, engraved with the word 'Love' in Tibetan letters, is barrel shaped and measures 0.5" long. Attached to a natural cotton cord it doesn't look like it would be worth US$105 admittedly, but it's an original design by Robin Renzi, and was individually finished and assembled. So what do you think? Am I sucker for a rip off, or is it just a fact of life that designer style comes at a price?
