J.Crew's Inside-Out Vanchetta Leather Wallet
The J.Crew's Inside-Out Vanchetta leather wallet (US$28) is a staple at any J.Crew store and comes in a variety of stylin' colors. Most folks never give it a second glance 'cos its always there, on the same ole table with the same ole $20 hair claws. Ya'll should check out this wallet in action though (perhaps I will YouTube it some day?) It's a quite clever! It consists of two simple panels of stiff leather and a cross-over elastic that holds the whole thing together. Access the wallet by opening it from either the left or the right, and the elastic will lay flat. Simply place your folded dollar or reciept on top of the elastic - your cash, at this point, is not yet safe. Secure your dollar by closing the wallet and briefly opening it from the opposite end (if you opened it from the right, now open it from the left.) The elastic bands will pull the paper between itself and the leather panel. Its sounds a bit tricky until you see it - then the entire thing becomes quite easy and handy for all the loose bits of paper floating inside your purse.
