I've been looking into getting a laptop and I know I'm spoilt for choice for laptop bags (my previous fave was a Lin & Leo Lapbag), but this Belkin PocketTop has streaked into the lead. Like a mobile workstation, it acts as a lap cushion to stop you charring your thighs (or, if you're male, killing your swimmers) and has a pocket for the charger which allows it to stay plugged in and out of the way. Also available in orange and silver, it costs $49.99 from Belkin in the US or around £22 from Amazon in the UK. Plus it looks like something from Mork & Mindy, which works for me.
