Vegan chic from Matt & Nat

mattnatt1.jpgFor those who prefer not to wear leather, Matt & Nat make some fabulous vegan bags, so you can rest assured that you don’t have a dead cow or any other creature hanging off your shoulder. Peta awarded Matt & Nat a Proggy award in 2005 for creating the best collection of cruelty-free handbags. Their synthetic leather bags are mostly constructed from PVC and sometimes PU (polyurethane). I know these are not great for the environment but they beat using leather. Here are my top five! The first one, to the left is a Queen Vintage Bowler in cognac for £90.

I love matt & nat too! Although I loved the Wright bag, my newest favorite is the Vicious in their Fall collection! They has such unique designs and the cruelty-free aspect is a great added bonus!

I never had a problem with the zippers but a friend of mine had a slight issue,so she e-mailed matt & nat and they were very accommodating and explained to her that now they use YKK zippers so there won't be any problems any more..

    I swear by them!

I've been carrying Matt & Nat bags for a long time now. I love them (I currently have the Wright in black and it is probably my favorite bag ever) - they are really cute and functional. The only problem I have ever had with them is that the zippers sometimes stop working properly.
