Sophisticated and stylish with Aspinal's 'Milan' shoulder bag

aspinal1.jpgaspinalliner1.jpg
I could barely contain myself when I spotten this gorgeous bag by Aspinal of London. I've been looking for a cross body bag to replace my old canvas Next bag, and this one looks just the ticket. Costing £199 and with a scrummy pink grosgrain lining, the bags are handmade in patent croc calf leather... Hang on. Does that mean it's made out of baby crocodiles? Oh dear, I think I'm stuck with my fugly bag for a little bit longer.

I agree, baby cow with a croc emboss.
Out of interest, if you object to baby crocodiles do you also object to baby cows? also if you object to baby leather in general do you object to adult animals?

Thanks, Babs. I wondered about that because the bags in other colours look like croc, but the white one doesn't.

Anonymous, I'm not entirely sure, to be honest. I did have a bit of a think about this yesterday when I found this bag. Gut reaction would be, yes, I'd object to baby cows, but then I take your point about not objecting to adult animals, although I'd certainly buy alternatives to any animal skin before I'd buy animal skin. It's something I need to look into. Thanks for the thought-provoking comment.
