Pouchette: somewhere in between a clutch and a thick wallet? This Marc Jacobs gem, styled after the popular 'Stam' is particularly eye catching 'cos of the signature quilted detail and golden push lock hardware. I also think this is a great example of the difference between Chanel and Marc Jacob's signature quilting; while Chanel's tends to be a bit poofy and tends to let the squares stand out to catch the light (like Nicky Hilton's large quilted here), MJ's quilting is often doubly outlined and flat. Many a time the quilting is merely a detail on the bag, as it is here, rather than enveloping the entire design. US$495 seems like a reasonable price for this cute MJ pouchette, no?
