I've finally found a Louis Vuitton bag that I actually like

I am not a fan of Louis Vuitton bags at all. I thought the Monogram Denim Patchwork collection was tacky, the Monogram Olympe Stratus looks like a washbag, and as for the Polka Dots Fleurs...

But I actually really, really love (yes, love!) this Roxbury Drive baguette bag, particularly in this glorious red (sorry, "Pomme D'Amour" - doesn't that mean "love apple"?). Also available in Pearl, Hazlenut and Amarante (black), it costs £430. Will wonders never cease?

Amarante, is NOT black. It is difficult to describe, however. It is a dark plum/aubergine that can appear black or chocolate in certain lights. It has deep golden undertones and, in daylight, it positively glows. Beautiful! The pomme d'amour color is lovely too. Much nicer than the old Vuitton red.

  • Yes, pomme d'amour means love apple... I love the color too, it's "punchy" and is just the right size. Love it!
