I'm (still) not a plastic bag: Anya Hindmarch is back

anya_main.jpgThought you'd seen the last of those Anya Hindmarch shoppers after they were ripped from the shelves of every Sainsbury's brave enough to stock them? Well, if so you're mistaken, because the bags are about to be re-released in glorious technicolour...

A new, limited edition (of course) range is to be released by We Are What We Do on June 20th, with versions of the bag in blue, green or charcoal grey. And to keep this batch exclusive, Hindmarch and her team of ace marketeers have ensured that only a random selection of fashionistas will get their arm-candy, as only those already signed up to her newsletter will be eligible to buy one. However, even if you are honoured with the privilege of buying one of the new issue bags, you won't get to pick a colour. For £21.78 (inc p&p and VAT), you'll get the bag in a randomly chosen colour, as well as a copy of Change the World from 9 to 5 (the price increase reflects a switch to fairer working conditions following complaints about the production of the original bag). I'm (still) not a plastic bag: Anya Hindmarch is back - Comments

I won't buy another thing from Anya Hindmarch since I discovered on the weekend that she's had her lawyers intimidate shotdeadinthehead.com (featured on ShinyShiny or Catwalk Queen - can't remember which! a while back). The reason for this - they were selling a bag which stated on the side "I'm not an Anya Hindmarch bag".

As this is clearly a joke and only someone with half a brain could confuse this bag with an Anya Hindmarch bag, it seems to me that AM has no sense of humour and is clearly not motivated by trying to get people to stop using plastic bags. Even the RIAA only go for people who actually copy their members' works. Incredible.
