Since the pair of whirling gold filigree ornaments are the only things decorating these wallets, I think they're rather tasteful. I love the contrast of gold on black, and I'm surprised I like the contrast of gold on orange, as well. Both are reasonably priced at US$105 (black), and US$135 (luggage/tan/orange/whatever you want to call it), so I think these are sensible and stylish investments. Simple as that.
