Why hello, my pretty! I could sing of your beauty all day (and night!) long! A far more favorable alternative to the Givency selection I oogled at a few days ago (Sarah Jessica Parker's) is this stunning black 'Nightingale' satchel from Barneys (US$1,495). The metallic version has been spotted on Ashley Olson, but I, like Lucy-of-the-great-taste, also prefer the black. This particular version sports some stunning hardware. That hard, dark silver work just at the handles complements the soft, luxuriously black leather to a tee, and the shape is inviting and practical. The color is certainly my favorite thing about this satchel, and the name endears me to it further; that is a wonderful midnight black, and the name 'Nightingale' conjures up a mysterious, and ethereally beautiful feel. My new favorite... of the week.
