Catwalk Queen have reliably informed me that it's Resort collection time, and Dior are the first down the catwalk in New York with their designs for the, ahem, how should I say it...more wealthy customers, let's put it that way. John Galliano, head designer at Dior, sent down many '60s designs which our sisters-in-the-know are calling 'Elizabeth Taylor-inspired'. Several of the bags had cute matching purses dangling from the sides by chains, and by the looks of them, they've been quilted in the 'Cannage' style that many of their other bags are made in.

There's no beating around the bush here, Galliano has definitely been channelling our grandmothers in his latest Resort collection for Dior - but is that a good thing or not? With the trend in fashion leaning towards the yesteryear, is this '60s Barbara Hutton look going to be making it into your wardrobe?
