Can a simple canvas tote bag ever be worth the best part of £400? Bottega Veneta certainly seem to think so. They're charging £375 for their bright pink tote, and while I love the colour, and the thick leather braided handles, I'm not so sure about the price. It has gold hardware and stud fastenings on each side which help reduce the depth of the bag, meaning that if you only have a few things to carry, you won't have to rummage around for them.
