Exactly how many Chanel handbags does Mischa Barton own?!

As we've mentioned on The Bag Lady before, Mischa Barton, Paris Hilton and many other bag-loving celebs are all fans of the divine Chanel 2.55 flapover handbag (see links below), and they've been popping up in various colours. Aside from the delicious red version, black is always pretty sophisticated so if I had to settle for that, I'd still be pretty happy. Sadly, the It-bag in question can be tricky to get hold of, and at the moment is available at selected Chanel boutiques for around US$2675. Would you ever spend that much on a handbag, and whether you would or not, which colour Chanel floats your boat?!

according to GRAZIA magazine in the U.K....Mischa said in an interview that she owns over 25 2.55 bags and Chanel sends her the latest "it-bag" every season....

I was never aware that the 2.55 was hard to get hold of...either way I would happily fork out for it (only in black!) it's a true classic which I would never tire of!

I have to brag a bit now, i think i have a fab bag collection, i have a black luella "joni" bag, an oak Mulberry "Anthony" bag, a Chloe clutch bag, a second hand Marc Jacobs bag (i'm not too proud for a bargain) and the cherry on the pie is a black perforated mini Chanel 2.55. I love them all and use them in rotation, but there will always be a special place in my heart for the chanel as it is a true icon. If anyone ever has a moment of madness (like i did) and deceides with trembling hands to hand over a small fortune to own one of these bags, then do it, it will never go out of style and will last you forever. I have never regretted it, i might not have eaten for a month, but thats not the point!!! XX
