Trying to be eco-friendly in a world where carrier bags are thrust upon you on a daily basis can be a chore, so I'm constantly on the lookout for other methods of transporting my bottles, cans and organic baguettes (I missed the Anya Hindmarch rush, y'see). Now, I heart things that are cute and Japanese, particularly when they're hand-made and available in the UK, so imagine my joy when I came across this site, which sells some of the adorable canvas bags from Shinzi Katoh, with the promise of 'new designs for mid 2007'!
Get hold of a bag like this and you'll love it so much you'll never forget to take it shopping with you. Oxford-based Tomato sells them for £25, which is definitely on the reasonable side for such unusual items. If you'd like to see the full range, Shinzi's website is here. Squee!
