I will beat you with a stick to make sure I get in front of you in the queue for this gorgeous oversized bag by Giles Deacon for New Look. Modelled here by Drew Barrymore, it is in stores today and costs £50. You can view the rest of the collection on the website but you can only purchase in stores. Just when is New Look going to become a part of the 21st century and join the online retail revolution? As it is, I am having to put my trainers on so I can hotfoot it down to Oxford Street. If you see me there, just remember - I've got a stick and I'm not afraid to use it!

i love huge bags as much as you, but this one seems to..hang a bit low, non?

It does hang rather low, but I think it looks great in this picture. However, now I've actually seen the real thing, I can tell you that a) it's not as big as it looks in the picture and b) it looks nowhere near as nice as it looks in the picture! The art of good photography, eh?
