Just because Louis Vuitton did a patchwork bag, doesn't mean it's a good idea. Clearly Dooney & Bourke do not share this sentiment and still see it as a beacon of inspiration. Hence, this 'Bitsy' bag. Bleurrrgh! Although the 'patches' used by Louis Vuitton were once designer bags in their own right, which equates to the hefty £23,484 price tag, now they're just a part of the Wildenstein of bag-land. Dooney & Bourke on the other hand have used what can only be described as clown-pants and are charging $75! The cheek. Somewhere out there is a sad trouserless clown looking for his pants, unaware of the tragedy that has occurred.
