I really like belts with a bit of delicacy about them. Don't get me wrong, a good chunky statement belt looks great, but it's also nice to have a few belts in your wardrobe that enhance an outfit more subtly. One of my current favourites would have to be this blue and silver cutwork belt from Laura Ashley (£18). They call it dark turquoise, but from the picture it looks more of a dark teal or a petrol blue to me. The simple oval silver matt buckle is really elegant and it would look great as blue-on-blue with denim, or as more of a contrast against a chocolate brown skirt.
