Yay or Nay Accessory

Last week's bag had something of a mixed reaction, with some of you loving it to bits, and some of you thinking it was just a bit too mumsy. The yays won the vote, but I don't know how pleased you'll be when you learn that the bag is a whopping $2520, by Roberto Cavalli. You can get it from eLuxury.

This week we have an accessory for you to vote on – a hair accessory, to be specific. Yes folks, it's a scrunchie: beloved of teenagers everywhere during the early nineties, and the subject of endless ridicule thereafter, this scrunchie is an attempt to re-design an old accessory, and perhaps make it slightly more palatable. They've exchanged fabric for pretty beads, but will it convince you to start buying scrunchies, or should they still be consigned to fashion hell? Tell me, Yay or Nay, and why?

They are now called "PONIES" and they are fabulous. They don't pull out your hair at all.

There are tons of ponytail holder styles.

I really think it depends on the woman and how much style she has to carry it off. I know that they can and do look very elegant when done right.

Nay, for the most part since it'll not really do a good job of holing the hair up.

I do however wonder how it would look being worn..does anyone have pictures? Maybe it only looks tacky alone, but cute and sparkly in a pony tail??

Such scrunchies have been around in my part of the world (Asia) for years!!! Like, 5 years? And they're really cool. It might seem odd or repulsive to use something like that to tie your hair, but trust me, it does look really nice.
