Silver diamante clutch bags at Warehouse

Wow, what on earth happened at Warehouse? Did they suddenly go way upmarket without telling us or something? These silver diamante clutch bags are certainly pretty (although now that Christmas is but a distant memory and an expanded waistline, most of us have probably had our fill of diamante, I suspect) but look at the prices! The bag on the left is £100, while the one on the right is £120 - a mere splash in the ocean compared to our designer bags, but still a lot more than we're used to seeing from the high street. Would you pay £120 for a Warehouse clutch bag?

No I wouldn't spend £100 on a bag from Warehouse. They are usually purveyors of more throwaway stuff and so how do you know the quality is any better than usual?

Isn't it JUST a rip-off of the uber-popular Claudia bag from Accessorize that everyone was wearing at christmas? In addition that was £45 so Warehouse charge twice as much for essentially a copy-cat look (if not shape).

Yes, I agree - I haven't seen the bags in person, so I may be way off beam, but there are a lot of bags like this around at the moment for nothing like this price, which begs the question - WHY?

may have seen it in Covent Garden earlier this
year, but I can find no trace of it on Warehouse's
web site.
