Thank goodness lurex is a synthetic yarn, as it's everywhere at the moment, so the threat of possibly running out is not a concern. On the other hand, if it were a natural fibre, we'd be in trouble. These Lurex Bow Gloves, £8 from Topshop, have also been given the lurex treatment. You have to squint really hard to see it, but it's on the bows. Personally, I think neither the bows nor the minute amount of lurex can help these gloves. It's hard to believe they came from Topshop.
