There's nothing like a little party clutch to brighten your mood and get you ready for the festive season. A brightly-coloured bag is a brilliant way of dressing up your little black dress, and if you vary your accessories from event to event, you'll often find you get a lot more wear out of the one dress. Next up is a gorgeous peacock satin clutch with an elegant spray of beads and diamante. One of the real pluses about this bag is that, not only does it have an optional strap that tucks away inside, but it can be worn at two different lengths. It's £18.50 from Jolie Bijoux at Treasure Box.
The picture looks a bit odd as it's explaining that both beaded and chain straps are interchangeable, but the colour of this golden bag is fantastic! Sequinned in columns, it has a bit of art deco style with the swagged beading over the top that gives it more of an elegant look. I'm not a fan of either of the strap options, so I'd suggest unclipping both and using it as a true clutch. It's just £12.99 from Handbag Heaven.
This very pretty little bag is from designer Megan Park and has a useful little wrist strap if you need it. I love the rainbow-striped sequin detailing and the vintage style shape looks great with the knobbly diamante clasp. It's £92 from YOOX.
As Amber reminded us this week, bows on clutches certainly don't seem to be going out of fashion any time soon and I can see why. Oversized bows really take a fairly ordinary clutch to the next level as we can see from this very sweet teal satin bag. It's from Per Una at Marks & Spencer and a great price at just £12.
