One of my favourite websites, Style.com, have put together a list of the hottest shoes and handbags for Spring 2007, but it's unfortunately in flash animation so is trés annoying, but here's a few pictures of the best from the collection. Of course, we've had a look at a fair few of these bags, from the recent catwalk shows in Fashion Week, but - look at them! In all their glory! Well, shame we can't quite describe the Louis Vuitton offering on the left as 'glorious', I'd say 'hideous' is more apt. On the right, is a Ralph Lauren clutch with just a hint of mirrorball-appeal. Click on the link below to see some more of my favourites...
On the left is a sparkly number from Bottega Veneta, and the handbag on the right is of course Burberry, with that chav-chic check peeking out between the leather accents.
The rhinestone-laden tote on the left is surprisingly from Mulberry - very odd, considering they've already listed their Spring 2007 collection on their site, and that tote wasn't one of them. Perhaps Style.com have made a mistake, as I somehow doubt Mulberry would create something as tacky as that! The metallic bag on the right is from Hogan, and I bet will be hugely popular next season, when the metallic trend sees a strong revival.
This retro-looking chain bag is from Dior, and for some reason reminds me of those horrid avocado coloured plastic bathroom sets you would find in your home, a relic from the 70s. On the right, the small patterned bag is obviously from Pucci, I'm sure you worked that out already!
The eclectic, almost 80s-inspired shoulder bag on the left is from Roger Vivier, and the atrocious errr...'Charming' piece on the right is actually from Fendi. Trust Karl Lagerfeld to design something so garish.
