Urban Outfitter's Copy of Chloe's Paddington Tote

With news that Jimmy Choo have successfully sued New Look for copyright infringements concerning their 'Bonbon' shoe, it may not be the smartest of moves that Urban Outfitters have blatantly copied Chloe's Paddington tote, (seen on the left in anthracite leather). Still, it's a gorgeous looking tote, but at $68 for vinyl, I'm not so convinced about the value for money you're getting there. At least it's under a $1000 cheaper than Chloe's version however!

Haha AC, great minds think alike, I spotted that too when I wrote up this particular post, but saved it as a draft to publish on Monday!

It's awful what Urban Outfitters are doing, and they charge so much for vinyl!

Urban Outfitters also seems to have copied the uber-popular Yves St. Laurent Muse bag: check out their 'Pebbled Bowling Bag' (in PVC for $58), which has the same stying as the YSL right down to the Y-shaped stitching and side-ring hardware.

I personally don't understand the point of the knockoff. The few people in the world one aims to please or impress with a designer/couture handbag are the same bunch who can spot a fake from a mile away. Why bother?
