Ugg Suede Satchel

Now we all know that Ugg boots are well and truly dead and gone (thank goodness, I never liked them, even though I'm Australian!), but what about Ugg handbags? We are nearing winter, after all, so sheepskin is becoming more and more appropriate, but would anyone actually carry one of these? I guess not, as it's been discounted over at Neiman Marcus from the original $180 to $90.

I still love uggs! I don't care whether they're fashionable.. it's so bloody cold in Scotland, that they're the only thing that keeps the frostbite from my toesies! ;)

I actually bought a little Ugg Australia bag a year or so ago - it's a sheepskin muff, to keep your hands in, away from the cold - and it's terribly kitsch, and doesn't get used much, but I can't bring myself to part with it. It's good quality, although I've noticed that a lot of their bags are *lined* with fleece. Must get dirty...

I'm from Oklahoma and Uggs are pretty much over in my high school, no one wears them anymore. I definitely think it must be some sort of "comfort over fashion" thing, kind of like flip flops, with the people who do still wear them. My Aunt Linda and my grandma both have a pair because their so comfy.

I can't believe no one likes uggs anymore! All the girls in the University I go to in America wear uggs. Even in the summer! Which DOES make sense b/c uggs keep feet cool b/c of the sheep fleece lining that sucks up sweat! Maybe they're over b/c middle age women could never pull them off to begin with and it's more geared for the younger crowd?
