I seem to spend my life being let down by poorly sewn embellishments on bags and clothes. Is it really so difficult to stitch a sequin in place and have it stay there for more than 10 minutes? Then a friend of mine told me a very simple trick; if you've got an item with sequins or beads on it, before use simply spray a strong-hold hairspray over the detail. Bits will still fall off eventually, I've learnt, but that little technique does get some longevity from your details for awhile!
