Beautiful Handmade Textiles by Rachel Cox
Katherine's been chatting about the beautiful handmade designs of Krista Raak recently, who reminded me of a small designer from Devon I learnt of, and thought you all should know about. Rachel Cox creates one-off textile art pieces, handbags, bedthrows and wall hangings. This is just one of her bags on offer, called Sweet Dessert and priced at £150. Personally I love the applique effect all of her work has, giving it that real individual and handmade effect. It all seems incredible to me as she talks about machining different pieces of fabric together and then melting them to get that special quality - amazing, I can't ever imagine being so creative!
